CATAN is a strategy and trading board game where players compete to build and develop settlements across the island of Catan.
Each turn, dice determine which areas produce resources such as brick, lumber, wool, grain, and ore. Players collect these resources and use them to build roads, settlements, and cities or purchase development cards.

Trading is an important part of the game. Players can negotiate and exchange resources with each other to get what they need for their next build. Since the board and resource distribution can change from game to game, every round offers a different strategy and challenge.

Players earn victory points by expanding their settlements, building cities, completing achievements, and using development cards. Careful planning, smart trading, and good decision-making are key to winning.
